Shri Rahul Kumar Sinha has issued directions to the officers concerned. He has said that there has been serious
damages in the Dumka district owing to yesterday's night heavy rainfall. Trees
have fallen down, Roads amd Rails have been blocked, Electric lines have
broken, Buildings have collapsed, Crops have destroyed, Drains have choked and
many more. Fortunately no casualties has been reported as of now.
Shri Rahul Kumar Sinha has directed all the department heads to use their
entire machinery of manpower and resources to overcome these damages. For
locating damages, they can either direct their subordinates or act as per local
information. Since it seems that rains would continue, we need to gear up with
extra preparation in order to prevent any formidable tragedy.
